Is your horse actually lazy?
FINDING FORWARDS WITHOUT FORCE
A free live webinar for riders who are tired of pushing their horse.
If you have ever felt that riding takes more effort than it should, this webinar is for you.
Finding Forwards Without Force is a free live webinar exploring why forward movement often disappears, and how it returns when we stop pushing and begin listening more closely to the horse.

shey there!
I'm Diana
When I speak to riders, I hear the same story again and again.
Most of us began with a simple dream. Riding that felt light, flowing, and harmonious. A sense of moving together with the horse, rather than managing every step.
For many riders, that dream becomes harder to reach over time. Forwards starts to require constant encouragement, and riding takes more effort than it feels it should. Lessons can leave both horse and rider tired, tense, and quietly wondering whether this is really how it’s meant to feel. Somewhere along the way, some of us even forget that we had this dream to begin with.
If you recognise this, you are not alone. I experienced it myself, and I see it in thoughtful, capable riders all the time. It doesn’t happen because you aren’t trying hard enough, and it isn’t a lack of skill or care.
This is why I created the Finding Forward Without Force webinar.
The work I share here explores a different way forward. One that does not rely on pushing, nagging, or doing more, but instead focuses on the conditions that allow forward movement and willingness to emerge naturally.
In this webinar, I’ll guide you through what’s really going on when a horse seems lazy, and why more leg, more whip and more pressure so often make things worse. Rather than adding pressure to create more energy, we’ll explore what changes when pressure is reduced and understanding increases.
You’ll see what happens when riders stop pushing, why slowing down at walk is the first step, and why slowing down on its own isn’t enough. And you’ll discover that effortless riding isn’t a talent you either have or don’t have, but a skill that can be learned.
If this approach speaks to you, you are warmly invited to come along.
What we'll cover
1. When “lazy” isn’t the truth
What’s really going on when a horse needs constant pushing, and why it isn’t a personality trait.
2. Why pushing makes it worse
How more leg, more whip and more pressure can trap a horse in a loop, and why riders so often get stuck there through no fault of their own.
3. The power of slowing down
What happens when riders stop pushing, and why the walk is the place to start.
4. Effortless riding is a skill
Why slowing down on its own isn’t enough, and how ease is built step by step in a way that lasts.
Who this webinar is for
This webinar is for riders whose horse needs constant pushing, and who sense there must be a kinder, easier way. It’s for riders who want to understand what their horse is telling them, rather than override it.
It’s especially suited to riders who care deeply about their horse’s comfort and willingness, and who are open to slowing down in order to move forward with clarity.
